A Journey of Faith and Soul Work
I’ve been a United Methodist pastor since 2000, guiding many on their faith journeys over the years.
In 2020, I founded Flourishing Souls, a ministry that blends Contemplative Prayer with Enneagram Spirituality. This has been a place where people from all walks of life come to deepen their spiritual practice and grow in self-awareness.
It’s an honor to help others discover the transformative power of these practices.
Deconstruction to Divine Love
In recent years, I’ve walked the difficult, but liberating, path of deconstructing my previous theological perspectives.
This journey has brought me to a much more expansive and deeply spiritual space, where I now see Divine Love as present in all of creation.
The Enneagram, with its ancient roots, has been a profound teacher in this process. It has shown me how to embrace a spirituality that unifies body, heart, and mind, while healing from family and life’s deeper wounds.
Soul Work for All
I believe deeply in the importance of soul work—connecting our inner selves with the Spirit of Love and Life.
Whether you come from a specific faith tradition or from a non-religious background, I welcome you with open arms.
I’m passionate about guiding people through inner work that unifies the body, heart, and mind, and helps heal wounds from our family of origin or life circumstances.
This work is for everyone, and I’m here to help you on your unique journey.
Weaving Wisdom: Speaking, Retreats, and Spiritual Direction
As a speaker, retreat leader, preacher, and spiritual director, I weave the wisdom of the Enneagram into everything I do. It beautifully reflects the mystic traditions of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
Whether working with individuals or groups, I aim to help people connect with their true selves and live the abundant life that we are all capable of.
Through the Enneagram, we can uncover the Spirit of Love and Life within us, opening the door to a more authentic and fulfilling existence.
Accreditations and Leadership
I am an accredited practitioner with the Integrative Enneagram (iEQ9) and a certified Spiritual Director with The Haden Institute. I also hold certifications from Russ Hudson in Teaching the Enneagram and the Enneagram in Conscious Living.
I’m a Contemplative Enneagram Practitioner currently in Evolving Enneagram’s first-ever Contemplative Enneagram Practitioner Training & Certification cohort. I’m a certified book journey facilitator for The Enneagram of the Soul (by Nhien Vuong) and a proud facilitator for Evolving Enneagram’s transformational Contemplative Practices and Enneagram (CPE) practice and support groups (since 2024).
I hold a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Spirituality. I also serve as an Elder in the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church and am the Vice President of the executive board for Rowan Vocational Opportunities.
My passion for justice leads me to remain actively involved in community justice issues in Rowan County, N.C.
