“The Enneagram of the Soul invites us on a journey of profound self-discovery. This beautiful book helps us remember that the real and original Enneagram work helps us shed concepts of ourselves and others that no longer serve us so that we may prepare ourselves for the mysterious and fantastic changes ahead—that we all know are upon us.”
This facilitator training offers you the opportunity to become a Certified Book Journey Facilitator for The Enneagram of the Soul: A 40-Day Spiritual Companion for the 9 Types, guided by the author, Nhien Vuong, JD, MDiv.
This unique contemplative, Enneagram-informed training explores the profound intersection of self-discovery, wholeness, and interconnectedness, empowering you to lead groups with skill and compassion.
Highlights:
* A weekend training held live online, on April 12 & 13, 2025, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm CST (6 hours that count toward IEA Accreditation points)
* 6-month access to a private, online community for questions and sharing
* Exclusive options for follow-up 1:1 mentoring sessions with Nhien Vuong
We welcome all to this training–from Enneagram newcomers to those pursuing certification. For those newer to the Enneagram, the book can serve as your group’s “expert” so you don’t have to. In this training, we hope to foster a safe space for you as well as your future group participants to self-reflect and grow—in conscious, contemplative, and Enneagram-literate community.
Important: Please note that we intentionally spaced the training over 2 days rather than making it one long day. The space in between the sessions is there to allow for more reflection and contemplation and thus deeper, more embodied integration of this material.
Discover how to facilitate safe, inclusive, interspiritual community spaces for Enneagram-informed contemplation and transformation. Explore both the essence and the nuts and bolts of facilitating compassion-based, contemplative community. Learn tips on how to cultivate an atmosphere of inner and outer hospitality that welcomes authenticity and bravery.
Gain some background into, and an overview of, The Enneagram of the Soul, along with insider insights from the Author about the book’s 9 Principles, 9 Prayers, 9 Practices, and the 40 Enneagram Type based “Activations” for each Type. Review Appendix A: Evolving Together: A guide for groups.
Incorporate Enneagram wisdom into understanding your own leadership biases. Learn how to invite and sustain group participation and transformation based on participants’ Enneagram types and subtypes.
Gain support in designing your own book journey. Nhien will make space to share tips and answer your questions.
Turn in Final Paper within 3 months of the live training (deadline: July 13, 2025)
To receive your certification you need to (1) attend the 6-hour training live and (2) successfully complete a short reflection paper responding to essay questions that will be shared with you at the outset of the live training. The final paper will include designing your own Enneagram of the Soul book journey. Within 2 weeks of submission, Nhien will review your final paper and offer feedback and/or confirmation of your certification as appropriate. Upon certification, you’ll receive a formal certificate as well as a mark of certification you’ll be able to share on any of your marketing materials.
This training will take place over one contemplative weekend, designed to balance intensive learning with silence and deep reflection.
What’s Included:
* 2 live 3-hour Zoom sessions taught by Nhien Vuong
* 6-month access to a private online community moderated by Nhien to share challenges, triumphs, and questions.
* Session recordings available for 6 months
Optional add-on:
Exclusive offers for private 1:1 mentoring with Nhien
