Who We Are
Evolving Enneagram is a contemplative Enneagram school devoted to the integration of committed spiritual practice and the transformative wisdom of the Enneagram. We are less concerned with labeling personality and more oriented toward awakening the deeper awareness that allows us to live with clarity, compassion, and embodied presence.
Through retreats, practitioner training, small groups, and private guidance, we cultivate spaces where inner awakening becomes a shared journey — grounded in curiosity, reverence, and compassion for our vulnerable, messy humanity.
Here, transformation is not an occasional event or distant goal, but a way of life to inhabit — with presence, wonder, and awe.

Our Approach
We approach the Enneagram as a map of inner awakening — a guide to the dynamic patterns that shape our perception, behavior, and relationships: to ourselves, to others, and to the God of our understanding. And we remember that the map is not the territory. No system can fully contain the wonder and mystery of the human soul.
Through dedicated practices of silence, self‑observation, and discernment, we learn to use the map wisely and compassionately — not to reduce ourselves to a type, but to awaken to a deeper freedom beyond the constraints of our personality structure.
Transformation unfolds as a gift of grace — not forced into being, but received through sustained attention, courageous inquiry, and compassionate presence — in both one‑to‑one accompaniment and the sacred container of conscious, contemplative community.

Nhien Vuong (she/her) is the founder of Evolving Enneagram and serves as its lead faculty, guiding individuals and communities in contemplative engagement with the Enneagram as a path of inner awakening and spiritual formation.
The vision for Evolving Enneagram emerged while Rev. Nhien was serving as a minister at Unity Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. During her time there, she developed an Enneagram educational department and founded an alternative interspiritual evening service called U‑Nite, where she began offering Enneagram Sunday talks. She also developed a model for sacred gathering that integrated Enneagram‑informed contemplative prayer practice in small‑group settings. These “CPE” groups continue to this day.
Over time, it became clear that this contemplative, wholeness‑based engagement with the Enneagram was the most transformative aspect of her ministry. Though she had never previously worked for herself, with the support of the small but mighty contemplative Enneagram community she had helped cultivate, Rev. Nhien stepped beyond church walls to follow a clarion call to offer this work full‑time and internationally.
Evolving Enneagram was founded as a space where the Enneagram could not merely be studied intellectually, but soulfully embodied through the wisdom of our bodies, hearts, and minds. What began with workshops has grown into a contemplative school and eclectic community of truth‑seekers from diverse spiritual and religious backgrounds, now spanning multiple countries around the globe.

Our Team
Evolving Enneagram is supported by a small and dedicated team who help steward the life and work of the community.
Belle Panganiban (she/her)
Executive Assistant
Belle Panganiban (she/her) serves as Executive Assistant to Evolving Enneagram’s founder, Nhien Vuong. Since joining the team in fall 2024, she has helped steward the daily operations of the school while contributing her organizational and social media skills to support Evolving Enneagram’s programs and communications.
Working closely with Rev. Nhien, Belle assists in the design of course materials and manages Evolving Enneagram’s social media platforms. She is bilingual in Tagalog and English and has deepened her own contemplative practice through participation in the Evolving Enneagram community, including two weekly Contemplative Practices & the Enneagram groups.
Belle is also a Certified Book Journey Facilitator for The Enneagram of the Soul and is currently on the path to becoming a Certified Contemplative Enneagram Practitioner with Evolving Enneagram.
Edgar Pinto (he/him)
Tech & Program Manager
Edgar Pinto (he/him) serves as Tech and Program Manager for Evolving Enneagram, overseeing the technical infrastructure that supports the school’s online programs and global community. He manages Evolving Enneagram’s website and contributes to the development of educational and marketing resources that support the organization’s mission.
Originally from Venezuela and now living near Paris, France, Edgar is a trilingual frontend developer (Spanish, English, French) and civil engineer. Since joining the Evolving Enneagram team in fall 2024, he has become actively engaged in the contemplative Enneagram community and continues to explore its path of self‑realization through meditation and spiritual practice.
Edgar is also a Certified Book Journey Facilitator for The Enneagram of the Soul and continues to deepen his formation within the Evolving Enneagram community.
Faculty & CPE Facilitators
The contemplative life of Evolving Enneagram is sustained through the presence and leadership of trained guides who steward our Contemplative Practices & the Enneagram (CPE) groups and learning spaces. These facilitators help cultivate environments of prayerful presence, compassionate listening, and shared awakening within the community.
