Evolving Enneagram Faculty Contemplative Enneagram Guide CPE Facilitator
I’m a contemplative practitioner and spiritual tutor. I deeply believe in the capacity of each person to travel their own journey through their unique process and path.
The Power of Inner Wisdom: A Journey of Integration and Learning
For many years, I’ve been committed to contemplative practice, always trusting that each of us holds within ourselves the wisdom we need to find our way.
My background in yoga has taught me the importance of integrating mind, body, and spirit to experience true balance in life.
I’m also a mother of six, and a freshly minted grandmother. I’ve been homeschooling my children since 2006 and am finishing up with our youngest, age 17, this year.
This journey has taught me that curiosity is at the heart of all deep learning, and it’s a value I bring into all aspects of my life.
My Work in Spirituality and Community
Throughout the years, I’ve been active in my local Catholic parish, serving as a leader in various capacities there as well in other communities.
I’ve had the honor of chairing the Board of Sanctuary of Hope, an ecumenical and interfaith retreat center in Kansas City, Kansas.
This work has allowed me to connect with people from diverse spiritual backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose in the community.
I’m a graduate of the three-year Souljourners program, an ecumenical formation program for spiritual directors. This program has deepened my commitment to spiritual direction and helping others along their spiritual paths. I soon will be joining the leadership team for this program and look forward to it very much.
I received my Enneagram Teacher Certification and my Certification in Conscious Living from Russ Hudson and Jessica Dibb and now serve as a Learning Lab facilitator in the Conscious Living program, which is a joy.
Contemplative Prayer
One of my passions is teaching contemplative prayer across different spiritual traditions.
I’ve had the opportunity to share these practices through ecumenical forums such as the Temple Buddhist Center, Sanctuary of Hope and other communities.
In these spaces, I guide others in finding stillness, listening to the wisdom within, and experiencing deeper connection with themselves and the divine.
It’s a joy to witness the transformation that can occur when people engage in contemplative practices with an open heart.
I’m a commissioned Contemplative Outreach Presenter of Centering Prayer, which supports my work in this arena.
Spiritual Tutoring and Guiding
I serve as a Spiritual Tutor for Evolving Enneagram, where I have the privilege of guiding others in their contemplative practices.
I’m also part of the Contemplative Practices & the Enneagram (CPE) facilitator team. My work here allows me to combine my love for contemplative prayer with the transformative insights of the Enneagram, helping individuals explore their inner landscapes and discover new depths of self-understanding.
If you desire for your inner self to be seen and heard, you may trust that I have a solid, capacious, welcoming ear and heart, and offer wise, life-giving support, and perhaps challenge!
Social Justice and Evolutionary Spirituality
I’m deeply committed to social justice, believing that our contemplative work must also extend into the world as a form of activism.
This is what I call “contemplative activism”—taking the insights and peace we cultivate in prayer and meditation and applying them to the causes and communities that matter most.
