Participation in group discussion is always welcome but never mandatory. You are welcome to attend each meeting regardless of how much reading or "homework" you have completed.
Knowledge of the Enneagram NOT mandatory: These gatherings will be Enneagram-informed in that Angela will be offering Enneagram-related reflections and the space will be welcoming of your own Enneagram-related insights. Note, however, that Enneagram knowledge is NOT mandatory for participation.
The Way of Integrity: Finding the Path to Your True Self by Martha Beck
Bombarded by cultural messages, relational expectations and our own lifelong patterns, it is easy to lose touch with what truly makes us feel whole. Our connection to truth and meaning can be found on this pilgrimage of the self–the way of integrity. Along the path, Martha Beck breaks it down into manageable steps, creatively structured within the framework of the hero’s journey, specifically Dante’s The Divine Comedy. Practical, spiritual, humorous and profound, Beck challenges us to discover (or rediscover) the parts of us that make us whole.

Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience by Brené Brown
Every person has a story and each of us bears the burden and the privilege of being our own storyteller. We share these stories because we want to connect, we want to be understood, we want to be seen and we want to belong. But many of us lose our way as we begin to try to find the words to speak about our emotions, our experience, our own narrative. How do we find our way through the telling of our tale? How do we listen to the telling of another’s? Like the places on a map, language can help us connect to one another as we journey through our human experience and give us the tools we need in naming our truth.
SCHEDULE: 5-7pm CST on . . .
February 8, 2023: Intro, Chapters 1-3
February 22, 2023: Chapters 4-7
March 8, 2023: Chapters 8-10

Reading brings us unknown friends.
